Sorry, I recently purchased a home that came with a very nice pond and noticed that everything is functional except that there are no filters in the system. The name on the system is Hayward Star Clear II. Will this product work for a Hayward Star Clear II system, and if not would you happen to know where I can purchase the right filter for this system? Thanks for any help.

Hi Jim, This cartridge does work on a Hayward Star Clear II Filter however there are three different sizes of Star Clear II filters the C-800, C-1100 and C-1500. If you can get the model # off of your filter tank than that would be the best way to determine which cartridge you require, this cartridge is for the C-1100 model and measures 23 5/16" Long. The C-800 Cartridge Measures 17-3/8" Long and the C-1500 cartridge measures roughly 35" long.

The C1100RE is the OEM part number. The PureLine Pureline Cartridge for Hayward C-1100 (C-8610) is a generic cartridge, but it does replace the C1100RE cartridge element.

If you have a Hayward C100S then you will need the PL0165 Replacement Cartridge if you have Jandy CS100 then you will need PL0126 Jandy CS100 Replacement Cartridge
