Can this impeller replace the 35-5369?

I have a 35-5315 Impeller with a 2HP motor and it has a SF of 1.10. Will this impeller do the same job as the 35-5604 or has someone possibly down sized the pump?

I have a 2 HP Challenger Pac. Fab commercial pump for city swimming pool.
It has a high head impeller - #35-5431
I have had a problem finding this impeller before. That company sent me a #35-5604 which did not work...can you help me??

This will depend on the model name or number of the front pump housing wet end that the motor attaches to.

I need a replacement impeller for a 30 year old Challenger 1.5 hp. The larger side that goes into the diffuser is the right size. What I’m replacing was threaded onto the pump shaft. What size is the threaded side of the impeller? This is nominally 1/2”

Hello Michael. The thread size on the Pentair Challenger Impeller Series is 1/2". The diameter of the material surrounding the threads varies according to the Impeller HP reference and Challenger model. Hello Terrie. The motor number provided, 196250, cross-references to a 1 1/2 HP Up Rate Motor, total horsepower 1.65. The Pentair Pool Products Impeller 1.5 THP, 355369 would be the correct impeller. Impeller 1.5 THP - 355369 The impeller 355315 is mated with motors 1.5 HP Full Rate, total horsepower 2.25. When replacing the impeller, it is recommended that the motor shaft seal, seal plate gasket, and diffuser be replaced concurrent with the new motor.
