What all does this item include? Does it include the spider gasket, cover O-ring, spring, seals, handle, pin, etc.?

This one does include everything. It has the gasket glued onto the diverter already and does have the cover o-ring. The only thing not included is the cover screws and they rarely need replacing.

dimensions from outside to outside of the key-handle are approx. 8" the only numbers I have are on the inside stamped 43D141 and the filter sand system is S244T2, will this fit? two times I have sent back from other dealers and we have no pool service where we live. - boondocks

Hi, The 2 at the end of the S244T2 part # is very important the 2 designates that you have the 2" valve. You will require this SPX0715BA3 2" Handle Assembly

Is this compatible with valve SP0710220. No BA at end of sticker on top of valve.

Does this include the spider gasket in this assembly. You have two conflicting answers. One answer says it does and another question say it does not. I don’t want to purchase this assembly with out the spider gasket factory glued.

Hello Steve. The Cover And Handle Assembly - SPX0740BA is a drop-in Key Cover and Handle Assembly for the Hayward Selecta-Flo Multiport valve model SP740DE. It is recommended that the Cover O-ring and Valve Seat Gasket be replaced concurrent with the SPX0740BA. The Selecta-Flo MPV 2" (D.E.) - SP0740DE is the complete valve assembly.
