Hi Tino, These Union Connector (SP1500UNPAK2C) are the correct unions for the CL200 chlorinator using 2" plumbing.

Are the unions made of PVC? I noticed they are black and was curious if they were constructed of ABS?
Can I glue the 1 1/2" schedule 40 pvc into the fitting with blue pvc glue?

Hi Pat, The sp1500unpak2c is made out of ABS. If you are gluing pvc to abs then the preferred glue is ABS to PVC transitional cement. If you do a search on Google for "ABS to PVC transitional cement" you will find a product by Weldon as well as Oatey. You should be able to find these at your local hardware store. I personally have always used pvc glue when gluing pvc to abs and have not had issues but ideally you would use the ABS to PVC transitional cement.

Hi Rick, I would suggest this Above Ground Pool Combo Adapter The male part of the fitting threads into the chlorinator and the smooth side allows you to slide the hose over the fitting.

We have a nut that is cracked. This pack looks IDENTICAL to what we need. The pump is an OLD model- SP 1711UN. Photo's attached. . The pipe is 1 1/2" so we know 2 parts in this kit fit but the nut, which we got from manufacturer as their part # spx1500g isn't 2". Do you think this kit will be a good match?

my CL 200 seems to use a 1.5 threaded (on the feeder) and slip into a 1.5 pvc .. I would like to use its 1.5 threaded to a slip to a larger 2' pvc.

Hello Michelle. The addition of a 2" slip coupler onto the outside of the 1.5" side (the side opposite the 1.5" threads) will transition that fitting to a 2" pipe size.
