Wil the valve work with Sta-Rite Model T240BP-1 sand filter?

Hi Bob, No this valve does not fit on the T240BP-1. The T240BP-1 takes the WC112-148 valve which has been discontinued. The WC112-148 valve was replaced by the 261186 Valve which does work on the Sta-Rite Model T240BP-1 sand filter, however the plumbing ports on the new valve are not in the same location as the plumbing ports on the old valve so some minor re-plumbing is required.

Bob, The correct valve that will work with your Sta-Rite Sand Filter model T240BP-1 is the 1-1/2" Top Mt. Clamp Style Valve.

Yes, if your Jacuzzi filter model is the Sandstorm then the 4710-40 will fit your filter.

Hi John, There should be a label on the side of the filter tank with model information if that is still legible then could you post that information. If not then you do have a TM-22 valve any of the information after the TM-22 designates how the valve attaches to the filter. 99% of the time if you have some sort of leaking from the valve then you just need the top assembly and all of the TM-22 valves you the same top assembly which would be this one here - 4602-1152 - TM-22 Top Assembly and you will need this TM-22 Spider Gasket and this Spider Gasket Adhesive to Glue in the Spider Gasket.
