Inyo, would this replace a 1HP Hayward super pump 2 with a Century Vs motor? It has a SF of 1 and moves 60 GPM? The issue is 1 1\2 union connections.

Hi, Daryl. This Prime VS Pump will not replace a Hayward Super II Pump due to the different performance level. The Super II Pump will our perform this Prime pump. You can use the TriStar VS Pump - SP3202VSP as a suitable replacement.

Hello im looking to replace my current hayward .75 hp tristar thats running on my 12k salt pool. We are using a hayward c150s filter. Is this pump a direct replacement?

Hi, this pump would be a great replacement for your Hayward .75 hp tristar from a flow standpoint. The plumbing ports on the PureLine Prime are not in the exact same location as the Hayward Tristar so you would have a little replumbing, but it should be nothing major. By upgrading to a variable speed pump you will save a ton on your operational costs, up to 80%!

Is the PL 2627 an open drip motor or a TEFC?

I'm replacing a Hayward RS1000 pump connected to an AO Smith replacement motor; model K48L2N104, 1HP, RPM3450, volts 115/230. I have a 16'x32' in-ground pool with 26K gallons, Hayward Swim Pure Plus T-cell 15 SWG, Purex Triton High Rate 225 lb. Sand Filter and 1 1/5' plumbing pipes. Is the Pureline Prime 1.65 or 2.7 HP the correct pump for my pool setup? Thanks!

Hello - the Pureline prime Salt Friendly 1.65 VS would be the best replacement for your Hayward RS series.

I have 9-year old STA-RITE MPRA6E-205L 1-HP, 230V pump, STA-RITE PXC95 filter and Leisure Temp LT600 heat pump, all with 2" piping. The pool is 15,000 gallons with no additional water features. It is not salt, but I may convert in the future. Is the PureLine Prime Variable Speed Pool Pump 1.65 HP Salt Friendly a good replacement choice? Does the 18 mo. warranty still apply if I install it myself?

Hello, That pump will be a good option for your pool. This will still have the 18 month warranty even if you install this.

what size breaker should be used for a pureline 1.65 hp variable pump model 2605 and is it required to be a GHI breaker?

Hi, Terrence. A 20 amp  2-Pole GFCI Breaker will be sufficient.

Would this be a good VS pump to replace a Pentair SuperFlo 1hp (340038)? Would would I need to do to reuse my 1.5" piping?

Yes, this would be a suitable VS pump however we are currently out of stock on them until likely the new year. Maybe consider the model 342001 or the PL2626

Hello, I need a 1.5 HP 220-240V 50Hz variable speed pool pump for an inground pool, so the pump is above the pool. I need 50Hz. Do you sell these? Thanks in advance for your reply. Regards Jorg Hilderink

I currently have a single speed Sta-rite Max-e-pro P6RA6F-206L pump with 1.65hp motor running 10hrs per day on a 45k gallon pool. I am switching to salt water next year and want to run a pump 24/7 to produce sufficient chlorine with a VS pump. Would this pump be a good option? Also considering the Pentair Superflo VS 342001.

Hi, Dean. In order to confirm if this pump will work, we will need to know the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) of your pool since the Max-E-Pro is a high head pump and this Prime VS pump is a medium head. How To Understand High Head vs Med Head Pumps

Based on my conservative estimates, I’m estimating around 50ft of head loss at 60gpm.

Dean, Based on the info provided, the PureLine Prime 2.7 HP Variable Speed Pool Pump - PL2606 will meet your pool needs.
