AquaRite

Pool Type: Inground, Residential

Available Cell Sizes: Up to 15,000, 25,000, or 40,000 Gallons

The AquaRite has been Hayward’s flagship salt system since its release in 1994. Its design features a standalone control, a salt cell (TurboCell), and a flow switch. The Aquarite can be installed on pools as large as 40,000 gallons.

AquaTrol

Pool Type: Aboveveground

Available Cell Sizes: Up to 18,000 Gallons

Hayward’s AquaTrol is a versatile salt chlorine generator that gives the pool owner four variants. The AquaTrol has two power cord options: a standard three-prong or twist-lock  (TL) style; the three-prong is by far the more common, but some areas’ building codes may require a twist-lock receptacle.

The AquaTrol’s other variant is how you wish to mount the salt cell to your pool. The hard pipe (HP) AquaTrol cell has standard PVC pipe adapters and the standard flow switch. The AquaTrol’s return Jet (RJ) package includes a salt cell with a hose adapter and a 90-degree elbow to allow you to mount it vertically directly into your pool’s return jet. The RJ model does not include a flow switch, making it the cheaper option.

Salt & Swim

Pool Type: Inground, Residential

Available Cell Sizes: Up to 30,000 Gallons

Ideal for cramped equipment pads,  the Hayward Salt & Swim is the newest residential salt system the brand offers. The SAS’s compact cell requires a smaller section of straight pipe to be removed for installation, and its smaller and sleeker control can be mounted in even the closest quarters.

Saline C Series

Pool Type: Inground, Commercial

Available Cell Sizes: Up to 60,000 or 110,000 Gallons

Commercial pools require a heavy-duty solution to counter the issues posed by sanitizing a large body of water that must endure high bather loads for extended periods. The Hayward Saline C is the solution to those problems. The Saline C’s massive salt cell can chlorinate a pool as large as 110,000 gallons. Its unique clear housing allows quick routine inspection with easy access to the electrode.
