Does this motor come with a cord? If not, do you supply the correct cord?

The Magnatek BN25 does not come with a cord. For a 115 volt application, if you need a twist lock cord, you can find it here: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352011327.htm or a standard 3 prong cord here: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352015032.htm

Is there any difference between the AO Smith BN25 and the BN25V1?
 Reply

No. The AO Smith BN25 and the BN25V1 are the same motor. The BN25V1 is the newer part number for the motor.

Does this motor come with the power cord and on-off switch?
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/11/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Dave, There is not a switch on the back of the motor. The on/off switch is part number 18374501 and can be purchased separately. This motor does not come with a cord as normally you would remove the cord off of your your current pump and use it with the new motor.

Hi Russell, The "black" wire goes to the L1 terminal, the "white" wire goes to L6 and the "green" to the ground.

Written on 7/23/2018 by Guest

Pulled the motor and pump off filter system took to garage removed old motor 4 bolts took pump apart 5 bolts and un unscrewed the impeller.
The new motor aligned up perfect new seals and o rings went together like a charm. Took about 20- 25
minutes new motor is so quiet can hardly hear it run.
