We need to replace pool cartage filter for Hayward C1750-E 175 square feet. Which one should I buy?

This cartridge here would be the correct replacement cartridge for the Hayward C1750-E this is the original cartridge made by Hayward. I personal like the Generic Hayward Star Clear Plus C-1750 Replacement Cartridge as the price is considerably less and the quality is just as good as the Hayward original.

My filter is marked as a C17502. Is this the same as the C1750 ?

Hi Vince, The Hayward Star Clear Plus C17502 is the same as the C1750 just the port size is different but will use the same cartridge element.

Hi Ed, The most popular filter by far is the SW150, if you measure your cartridge and it measures 23-1/4" Long then you will need the PL0132 150 Sq. Ft. Replacement Cartridge

Pros: Great performance, cleaning
Cons: Price is higher than a generic.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the difference a new cartridge filter makes. I was cleaning my old cartridge every other day. The flow-through of this new cartridge is amazing, and yet the pool is sparkling. I was not sure if I should buy an Hayward OEM or a generic. I'm glad I went with the Hayward OEM.

I prefer the OEM filter over the unicel. Better filtration and it runs at a lower pressure.

Received in a timely manner in good condition. Much less expensive than thru a retail store. I assume it will last as long as my old one. The only thing? The box said that cleaning instructions were enclosed and they were not.
