Our remote has the AQL-TW-RF-PS-8 but not an AQL2. There is also the barcode 1R0605-1079755. Do you have a remote to work with our base or will the AQL2-TW-RF-PS-8 work with it?

Hi Dan, The AQL2-TW-RF-PS-8 may not work because of the firmware, you will have to contact Hayward at 908.355.7995 to see what you'll have to do since the AQL-TW-RF-PS-8 are no longer available.

Lately, our salt level readings appear to be incorrect. One day it reads 3200 then changing to "low salt level" indicating 2700. Salt added, and level returns to 3100. Confirmed with Leslie Pool water sample. Later in the day, the light comes back on indicating "low salt". What causes this kind of behavior?

Hello Dick,  when the salt is too low the AquaLogic generate less chlorine and the life of the cell is degraded. Check the cell and clean if necessary (see instructions, page 29) before adding salt (see instructions, page 26). Attached is the manual

Hi, Marice. This product will replace AQL-TTW-RF-PS-8 your Pro Logic controller and or Aqua Logic PS controller has an operating with software revision r2.00 or higher and using an AQL2-BASE-RF Base Station operating with software revision r3.00 or higher.
