Here are the instructions from the Manual for the FNS PLUS 60 DE filter (PAGE 7). To Reassemble: A. Starting with the "SMALL GRID" element, place the element on the bottom spreader in the position marked "SMALL GRID". B. Continue positioning the remaining elements onto the spreader in the same manner as the small element. C. After all elements have been positioned on the bottom spreader, place the plastic template over the element spouts. This will keep the elements positioned correctly. D. Position the top manifold over the elements with the stand pipe inlet port pointing in the direction of the small element. Using moderate force push down on the manifold to seat it on to the elements. Ensure template is not caught or trapped between manifold and element spouts. E. Replace the two nuts and the two plastic stand-offs, (if equipped). F. Replace the completed element assembly into the filter tank.

Hi Michael, This is the correct grid pack for the FNS-60. The FNS60 Grid Assy-195070 is the correct grid assy that will fit into the Aquatech FNS-60, however, the tank o-ring is no longer available for your filter.

I have a Nautilus FNS DE 36. De is pumping into the pool after I backwash. I have installed a new port. Do I need new grids? I have hosed off the grids, but could not remove them. My pool water is milky white, despite several days of running pump on filter setting.

I would inspect your grids to make sure no rips have occurred as well as the ribs in the grids making for none are broken. Also, if the stand pipe is set all the way it will leak DE into the pool as well. These are good places to start after replacing the valve.

I have a Monarch DE filter Model MSCV 2-60, 7 full, 1 small grid. they seem to measure the same size as your grids. 50 PSI max. 150 GPM w/o slurry, 180 gpm w/ slurry. Would your grid package work. should i order the manifolds as well and would the filter come assembled?

Does these cartridges work for a Purex Triton pump? I checked them elsewhere and I found that they are for Hayward pumps.

Purex was bought out by Pentair so you are going to want to buy grids for a Pentair filter. The PL0189 will work in a Pentair filter, but I will need to know what model Purex Triton you have, either 2000 or 4000 series, so I can locate the correct size grid set for you. If you are not aware please attach some pictures of you filter and the dimensions of the grids.

I have a Jandy DE filter (DEL-60), which is 12 years old. Two years ago, I replaced the grids with this set purchased from INYO. This year, I removed and completely cleaned the grids prior to opening the pool. However, after opening the pool, the filter has extremely short cycles between backwashing. Now, after backwashing the pressure will only go down to about 16 psi, and it's back up to 30 psi after two hours. Aside from replacing the grids again, do you have any other suggestions?

Hi, Greg. Make sure you put in the correct amount of DE powder. Also, if the pool is dirty, then regular backwashing is normal until the pool is cleaned. If those are good, then replace the grids.
