Hi I changed all gaskets and new bulbs RW40 300w bulbs in two lights. One of the lights gets about 1.5 inch of water inside no matter how many times I change the silicone gasket. Glass is not broken and not dents on the edge of housing where gasket sits. Where is this water getting into the light from? the electrical cord?
Also both lights look very dim? is the water causing an issue inside the housing that dims the light?

Ray, The only other thing that could be the issue id the Unitension Wire Assy. (79111000), is that not securing the fixture properly it can let water into the fixture.

Hello Jessica, The shortest length we have for something like that is for an Above Ground NiteLighter - 12V, 100 Watt, Multi-Color Underwater Light - NLML. The cord is 28ft.

I have van old pool light that needs to be replaced The Diameter of the outer ring is just at 9" It says Sta-Rite on it and Avant D Alumer on the ring.You can;t read anything on the label. What kind of replacement light will fit my pool?

Hello, from our research, your specifications cross-reference to the Poolstar fixture. This was made by Hydrotech Chemical Corp at one point and then later sold under the Purex name. We do not have an LED bulb that will fit that fixture. However, we do have a replacement lens gasket. The part number is 3550-03. We have a couple of options if you want an LED light. The first would be the pool version of the Pentair Intellibrite. This is a complete led light fixture. The second option would be to buy an incandescent style light fixture and then install the LED bulb. You would want to go with an Amerlite pool fixture and a pool LED bulb with the same voltage.

Hello John. The Pentair Amerilite part number EC-602129 has a fo ft cord length. The Pentair Amerilite part number 78431100 has a 15 ft cord length. The cord length is the only difference between the two fixtures.
