Is this tank body assy part w/the front basket, attaches to the motor? I have a pentair 011018 but bolts from motor have stripped out into front body, causing it to leak at gasket.

The part number 011018 refers to the IntelliFlo Variable Speed - 011018. The recommended replacement for the 011018 is the Volute Replacement Kit (357149). Click here to view the schematic for the Pentair IntelliFlo VS 3050 & VS + SVRS and all parts available. Is this my part? Mine is full of tiny cracks that go off like a sprinkler when the filter gets dirty and hits 24 pounds. Just had the motor rebuilt two years ago so don't think I want a full replacement.

A  Answered on 2/15/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

Hi Patrick, this the correct tank body for the Sta-Rite Max E Pro P6E6 series pool pump. We also recommend replacing the housing o ring being part number 357099Z. Also if your pump was installed by a licensed pool contractor then you will want to get with the manufacturer Pentair providing those documents and it may be covered under warranty.

I have a 2hp sta-rite max e pro pump with hairline crack in tank body assembly. can you confirm this is the right replacement part? Also, are there any o-rigs, seals, etc. I need ? Is there an instructional video on installing available?

Hi Tom, yes, the Tank Body Assembly - 17307-0110S will be a perfect replacement for your leaking Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pump.  You may want to get the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Tune Up Kit so you have new seals on hand when you replace it.  We do not have instructions on replacing the pump tank, but it will be similar to these for installing a new pool pump. You should not need to cut anything if you have unions installed.
