P4 System Includes - 4 relays, 3 valve outputs, no actuators, 8 position breaker panel, local remote from power supply, chlorine generator, no indoor control (indoor control must be purchased separately) and 2 temp sensors.

The Aqua Logic System has 3 different control options available.
1. Wall Mounted Wired Remote - The wired remote requires 4 conductor wire to be run from the equipment pad to the location in the house where the Wall Mounted Wired Remote will be hooked to the wall. You can Add Up to 3 Wired Remotes to your Aqua Logic system. If you are adding the Aqua Logic to an existing pool, the wireless remote may be a better option.
2. Wall Mounted Wireless Remote - Aqua Logic wireless remotes require a Wireless Base Receiver. Only 1 Base Receiver is needed to operate any combination of 4 wireless remotes. The Wall Mounted Wireless Remote does not require any connections from the remote to the equipment set. This makes the wireless option ideal for retrofit applications. Unlike table top wireless remotes that can be moved around the house, this unit is mounted to the wall and plugged into a power outlet nearby.
3. Wireless Spa Side Remote - A Base Receiver is required when using the wireless Spa Side Remote. Only 1 Base Receiver is needed to operate any combination of 4 wireless remotes. Control up to 6 functions in the comfort of your spa with the Wireless Spaside Remote.

Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?

No, salt is not included. You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool. Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized. Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.

I have an aqua logic system which is about 8 years old. The display on the wired panel has gone. I either need to replace the unit or the motherboard. How do I identify what system it is, the PS 4, 8 or 16

All of the various AquaLogic systems will use the same Aqualogic MotherBoard or PC Board shown here. You can go out to your power center to count how many relays you are using to determine what sized system you would require.

I have an Aqualogic AQL-PS-8, how do I know what rev # is installed?

Larry, The most accurate way to tell what REV you have on your Aqualogic AQL-PS-8 would be to call Hayward at 908-355-7995 with the serial number of you unit, which can be found on the inside of the door on your panel.

I have a " Chlorinator off High temp" message. Not sure what this means.

Hi, "Chlorinator Off High Temperature’ means the current chlorinator cycle has been interrupted due to a cell temperature reading of more than 140°F." If the water temp is not at 140°F, then you will need to replace the turbo cell.
