I have a pump ASSY that started leaking when I shut it down while it was trying to prime I'm assuming since I was in the process of filling it since the pool was low I replaced the motor shaft seals 1st time and it still leaked did this a second time and it sealed good turned it off then on again it started leaking again, defuser has been changed as well. Motor is new. Do Yall sell the whole assy w/o the motor. Is the whole housing filled with water when running?

Hi Shawn. The whole pump (the "wet end") should always be filled with water. That assembly is not sold as a complete unit without the motor already attached, and replacing the wet end of the pump may not fix the issue. We recommend taking it apart and verifying that everything is installed correctly including the motor shaft seal. Be sure to put a little lubricant on all of the o-rings to help them last a long time and to help them seal as well.

My pump developed a pinhole leak by the output of the pump. the tag on the pump says SP321Z1BE, the pump itself says its a EF1000. Is this the right replacement pump housing? Also are there any gaskets or o-rings that should be replaced after removing the housing?

Hayward TriStar SP3200X Series Pump The Hayward part number SP3200A is the Pump Strainer Housing for the TriStar Pump. When installing part SP3200A the Diffuser O-Ring Union/Diffuser O-ring - SPX4000Z1 and Housing Gasket should be replaced Housing O-ring - SPX3200T.

Replacement parts for that equipment were manufactured by Hayward and will have the Hayward logo present.
