The Poolvergnugen PoolCleaner is a high quality product that requires minimal repair. However, after several years of continual use, the tires will have to be replaced. As you will see in this guide, this is a very simple process.

Step by Step

Step 1

The tires must be replaced when the tires are worn down to the thread wear indicators. You will see these indicators at three different points on the tire about 102 degrees apart.

Step 2

Turn off your pump before removing the PoolCleaner from the pool.

Step 3

Pull the PoolCleaner to the edge of the pool with the hose than lift the PoolCleaner out of the pool by its handle.

Step 4

Lay the hose out straight and remove the Leader Hose from the PoolCleaner.

Step 5

Place the PoolCleaner on a work surface and, using ony your hands, peal the tire off the wheel from top to bottom.

Step 6

Take the new tire and place it onto the wheel from top to bottom.

Step 7

Repeat this process to replace the tire on the other wheel.

Step 8

Check that both tires are on completely and reconnect the Leader Hose to the PoolCleaner.

Step 9

Place the PoolCleaner back in the water making sure to purge all air out of the PoolCleaner and the hose.

Step 10

Turn your pool pump back on.

REv - There are 3 wear indicators on the outer diameter of each wheel 120 degrees apart. When the tire wears down to those indicators, it's time to replace the tires. We do have the tires in stock. See "FRONT TIRE KIT"

Hi,

I am not sure if my wheels are worned out or I am having issue with my Pool Cleaner (2wheels). The robot seemed to be little wobbly when moving and sometimes one of the wheel gets stuck when rotating due to one of the wheel being worned out, would that be the cause of the problem? Would a replacement wheel fix the problem and do you guys have that in stock and how much?

I just want to say I love your product, and it's kept my pool so clean ;) Keep up the great job!
