After years of use, the Seal Flaps on your Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sand Shark Cleaner may become worn or torn. This guide shows you how simple it is to replace the Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sand Shark Seal Flaps.

Step 1

ORDER PARTS - The first step is to order the parts you will need. The only part required is a set of Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sand Shark SEAL FLAPS.

Step 2

REMOVE SEAL FLAPS - Turn your Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sand Shark Cleaner over on its back to access the Seal Flaps. GENTLY pull the Seal Flaps out of their grooves.

Step 3

REPLACE SEAL FLAPS - Press the new Seal Flaps into their respective grooves. Note: There are two grooves to install each Flap into, a large one and a small one. Line up each Flap to fit into both grooves correctly. Press down hard to make sure the flap is install all the way into the grooves.

Step 4

CLEANER IS READY - That's all there is to replacing the old Seal Flaps. Your Cleaner is ready to go.

spettro - The Seal Flaps create a stronger suction around the vacuum port.

THANK YOU. I was having difficulty understanding why I was sent the parts I was sent and how they would go on my cleaner. Turns out my old flaps were so short there was nothing left of the wide part with the holes so to me it looked nothing like the parts to fix it.

Thanks Danny. The replacement process is the same for my Pentair Pool Shark cleaner too, the GW7506 Seal Flap Kit. It was very simple, as you stated. I appreciated your guide and photos because the owner's manual does not discuss replacement of the seal flaps. Best regards, Gene B., 7/10/13.
