Product Description

Olympic UNI-88 skimmer basket made of white plastic.  The basket shape is round and tapered.  It features a 1" x 3/8" finger grip tab near the top on one side.  This is the closest replacement basket for Muskin Models A2077 & A2081 skimmers.

Additional dimensions:

  • Outside diameter (top) 6-1/4"
  • Outside diameter (bottom) 4-1/8"
  • Top lip extends approx. 3/8" from body of basket
  • Top flat to flat distance 5-5/16"
  • Length of flat sides approx. 1-3/8"
  • Height 2-3/4"

I am looking for a strainer basket for a Muskin skimmer (A2077). Apparently it is obsolete. Will this replace the part I am looking for: ML62080? Thank you

Yes you are correct the Muskin A2077 basket is obsolete but we have found that this basket will be a suitable replacement for the original Muskin basket.

On the Details Tab, there is conflicting information on the width of the basket. You show this in one place: DIMENSIONS 6.75" O.D. (TOP) X 2.75" H and this in another place: Outside diameter (top) 6-1/4". Which is correct?

Hi, Jim. The diameter of this basket is  6-1/4" including the lip.

Pros: Website was confusing, so they picked the incorrect part.

Cons: They fixed the web site page the next day to avoid confusion by other future customers

I ordered a skimmer for my above ground pool. It arrived with a different product than I ordered. I called the company the next business day and explained my problem and provided copies of my order. They immediately sent out a replacement part, which was the correct part. Then they modified their web site page to make sure that someone else did not have the same problem. Customer service was helpful and response was immediately. Good Job!
