Can I install the Anthony push pull valve tune up kit from the top by taking the triangular cap off, pulling the shaft out, replace the o-rings and putting the shaft back in through the top, putting the cap back on?

Hi, That would be the correct way to remove and install the Plunger Assy from the valve body.

Edward- The 2' or 1.5" would refer to the size of your pvc ports on your valve.
