My pump is not priming even after cleaning impeller. Will purchasing this kit aid in fixing that problem?

The seal kit can help with loss of prime. I can't guarantee that it will solve your problem. The loss of prime could be from an air leak at the valves or plumbing in front of the pump.

I have a Jandy Neverlube 3 port valve 1 1/2, 2, and 2" It appears to be sucking some air through where the valve handle goes into the valve. Should this tune up kit fix that leak?

Tuneup kit says it is for a neverlube valve. My Yandy is a standard valve with the grease fitting. Will this tune up kit work with the valve that requires lubrication ??

I have an old Jandy 3 port valve. My understanding is that I need 3 o-rings: one for the cover and two for the shaft. I believe I need the 3" o ring for the cover. What is the fourth O ring for in this kit? What size o ring do I need for the cover? Thanks
Hello AC. Your Jandy valve requires 3 o-rings, one cover o-ring (3 inches), two shaft o-rings. These parts, along with lubricant, are contained in the GOKIT72. The additional cover o-ring is specific to a Jandy Space Saver Valve. Please be sure to lubricate all o-rings to ensure a great seal.

I removed the face of the valves to fill the pipes with water thinking it would help assist with the priming. When I removed the face of the “Main Drain” valve, I noticed the rubber gasket around the valve shaft was broken. The valves were there when we moved into the home 16 yrs ago. I decided to go ahead and get “Tuneup Kits” for all 4 valves. Seemed to have solved my issue.

The replacement washers were exactly what was needed to stop the leaking of the Jandy Never Lube. Sizes were correct and relatively simple to install. No more leak thus saving water.
