My pool cleaner still sucks up dirt,but will not move?

It could be a couple of things. The first that comes to mind is that the diaphragm is ripped or torn, allowing water to pass, but not pulsating to move the cleaner. Another possibility is that footpad has worn down and not allowing water to pass to let the cleaner move. Or third, your filter may just be dirty and not allowing enough suction to move the cleaner.
