You would need a WPC1XXXX9 to control an auto-synch unit alone.

We got our jazz light 12 yrs ago. It changes colors. Will this remote work with it. What is the distance it will work

Donna, The RM400 Wireless Remote Control System is used for the 6004-AS illuminator in conjunction with the Jazz Light only. If you do not have the illuminator. this remote will not work.
