We are not very handy but decided to replace the pool filter ourselves. I ordered a new Hayward filter from Inyopools.com, which came promptly. We reviewed a video and completed the process easily.
Simply shut the pool off first, unscrew the top off the filter housing, remove the old filter and replace with the new filter, careful to line up properly. Replace and re-screw the top on and the turn your pool pump back on. Easy peasy.

Ordered a Cx1900RE filter for my inground pool and the item was shipped promptly and in perfect condition. I wanted an original equipment filter like the ones at my local pool store but they don't seem to hold up very well. Very pleased so far and will order again from this site.
