will this be a good replacement for hayward c4000 filter case
Hello Doron. The Manifold, Bottom Collector - CX3000C Order# CMP-25357-750-000 is the correct replacement Bottom Collector for the Hayward C4000 Super Star Clear Cartridge Filter. Attached please find the Hayward Super Star Clear Cartridge Filter exploded parts diagram for reference.

biggest oil filter pliers I could get.
Loosened both the Input and Output PVS tubes going into the CX3000 filter tank.
Slid the tank over to loosen the bottom Input PVC fitting holding the internal elbow to the manifold.
Removed the manifold from the CX3000 filter tank.
Had to remove the elbow from the old manifold and clean it up to and put it on the new manifold.
Reassemble the CX3000 filter tank and all of the parts.
Assembly was successful and it no performing flawlessly.
