This filter is made for a Hayward, use it and DO NOT use those generic filters that the dealers are trying to push. This is a very heavy duty filter and cost the same as the generic. Very Happy customer with a crystal clear pool.

Pros: Easy to clean

Cons: Not for dirty pools

The filter system does an outstanding job of removing algae. You do have to clean it often(every two days) for the first few weeks until all of it is out of the pool. After that, once every month with regular use.
