Hi Michelle, No this part does not work on the C5520CP you will require this Hayward C5520 Lid Assembly

  Can I just buy the lid part without the clamp? My clamp works fine still. Pls advise and send a link to where I can order it like that. (replacement part for Model C5520CP)

    Unfortunately the manufacturer only sells as a complete assembly. Here is a link to the C5520 Hayward Parts Diagram where you can view or purcahse any of the parts for your filter.
