Intermatic Multi Circuit Freeze Protection Control For Pools w/Cleaner Two Time Switches
These heavy-duty Freeze Protection Controls are designed specifically for pools requiring one or two time switches and protect the pool and spa equipment and plumbing against freeze damage. They turn the pump and heater ON when the outdoor temperature drops below the temperature set by the user-adjustable thermostat. In addition, they have a provision to install switches inside or GFCI receptacle on the side of enclosure.

Can this timer be used to control a two speed pump? I would like one timer that can switch the pump between high and low speed, as well as shut the pump off completely. I also like the idea of the freeze protection.

Hi, The Intermatic Multi Circuit Freeze Protection Controller (PF1202T) is unable to control a two-speed pump. The Intermatic T10604R can control a two-speed pump but does not have freeze protection so you will have to purchase and install the Intermatic Freeze Protection Thermostat Only (178T24).

Both timers combined into one box, and has automatic freeze protector. Box and timers seem to be well built.
