This O-ring goes between the collar and the salt cell on the Nature 2 Fusion Soft and goes between the collar and tablet feeder on the Nature 2 Fusion.

Is this ring flat on the top and bottom or round?

Hello Jim, Looking at the dimension picture of this o-ring, the bottom is flat and the top has an inside/outside rounded edge with a groove in the center.

Can this o-ring be used for the nature2 fusion inground for the large opening where you put the chorine tabs.

Hi Pat, Yes this is the large o-ring that goes between the collar and chlorine tablet feeder on the Nature2 Fusion.

I see in your answer to 4/18/2016 by Jim on 4/18/2016 that you are describing the O-Ring as flat and the top has an inside/outside rounded edge with a groove in the center. Or as Zodiac describes it as an o-ring with a male and female side. I ordered this product and received a standard smooth o-ring with a round cross section. It does not match your description or the cross section diagram on the paper that it came with. Is this a new design or a substitution?

Yes, the new style of that o-ring is going to look like a regular o-ring. Zodiac no longer makes it to fit flat in the groove.

This fit perfectly. At first I was worried because it looked different and didnt have a ridge- but it worked great. No hesitation to buy if you have that in ground chlorinator it will work perfectly!
