?     Asked on 2/18/2017by Mark Crittenden

I have purchased a Pentair 348023 pump to replace an old 1hp Aquaflo brass pump. It did not come with instructions for the wiring other than what is on the motor tag. It is set up for 230v, but I only have 115v circuit. The data from the web site says that this motor can be run on 115v. The motor tag says to turn a knob counterclockwise for 115v. My question is, when set for 115v, will this motor still run 3470rpm and give the GPM I need for my 15800 gallon pool?

Hello Mark and thank you for your question. The motor will still run the desired 3450RPM regardless of the 230/115v connection.
