Warranty Ecommerce (EC) products: Products purchased from an Authorized Pentair Online Reseller (products beginning with EC-) receive a one (1) year (parts only) warranty from the date of purchase. The exceptions are: IntelliChlor cells and IntelliFlo SVRS pumps which receive a two (2) year warranty. EC products are not eligible for the bundled three (3) year extended warranty.

Will this pump be ok if I use reducers at the ports to 1-1/2". My system is 1-1/2"

Hello Daniel. The Pentair Pool Products IntelliFlo i2 is compatible with 1 1/2" plumbing with the use of a 2" x 1 1/2" pipe reducer. The maximum flow volume for a 1 1/2" PVC pipe is 60 gallons per minute (GPM). Referencing the IntelliFlo i2 performance data, at 50 feet of head, 60 GPM is achieved at around 2700 RPM. A potential pump alternative is the Pentair SuperFlo VS (1 1/2" port size) depending on your pump requirements. Pentair SuperFlo® VS The SuperFlo VS performance data indicates 60GPM, at 50 feet of head is achieved at 3000 RPM.
