does this come with filter. also will this product take care of a 22 ft. x 54 in. deep round above ground pool. one more question how do you figure the square foot of the pool because I see 25 ,50 ,75, 100 , 120, or 200 square foot filter systems...

Hi Robert, The Pentair 1 HP OptiFlo Pump W/ 100 Sq. Ft. Clean & Clear Cartridge Filter does come with a cartridge inside the canister. The square foot refers to the size of the filter cartridge not the pool. The larger the square footage of the filter the better water flow and more efficient your system will be.
