Hi, Mark. You can use the Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm Gas Components Parts Diagram to see where the orifice goes.

We just had a new MasterTemp 400 installed but it was an Propane model instead to Natural Gas.
The Order Number: is 1180067

Is there anyway you can ship use the NG conversion kit?

Hello Michael. The Pentair Conversion Kit - LP to NG 400K BTU, part number 77707-1411 would contain the correct part to make the transition from liquid propane to natural gas for the 400K BTU heater.
