Can you provide me the dimensions for the Raypak RP Series model PR406AEP? What size gas line does this heater use?

The Raypak 406 BTU RP2100 Series the cabinet measures are as follows: Width - 29 inches, Depth - 28 inches, Height - 38 inches. the gas line needed for the 406K BTU is a 3/4 inch. Any further technical data like voltage be found in the Raypak Specifications Guide

How do I calculate the size of heater needed ?
Pool is 11 x 4 x 1.5 metres, in sub-tropical location...

If you are trying to heat the pool only and you do not have a hot tub to heat I recommend a heat pump over a heater. It is going to be more cost efficient.

Is this pump good for hard water?

Hi, Angela. This is a gas heater, not a heat pump. Hard water is bad for your pool equipment. Heat Pumps can with hard water conditions because it has a titanium heat exchanger, you will want to get a gas heater with a cupro-nickel heat exchanger like model # 014953 which is an electronic unit.
