4" Minimum below waterline *14" minimum length of 1.5" diameter PVC behind wall fitting. Reduce to a 1" diameter conduit for the cable run to the transformer.
Can I put a SaVi LED Light into an existing return jet. How does that work.

It doesn't. These lights are not intended to work with existing return jets in your water lines. They use a wall fitting very similar to the return jet which has piping behind it to take wire up to a transformer. This is something you do when installing your pool.
