I'm looking to replace my G.E motor. My model is a C1318. Your description matches but you say this is a Marathon motor. Is this right?

G.E. and Marathon are one in the same. G.E was purchased by Regal Beloit and is now under the Marathon name. The quality of the motor has not changed.

What's a good replacement motor for this that saves money?

Hello, An energy efficient option would be the Century UCT1152 motor.

Is the ECM16CU have the same fittings and would this be a better option as far as savings?

The ECM16CU does have the same bolt pattern so it would mount up the same as the C1319. You may need to change the diffuser and impeller to get the full capacity out of the motor if used though.
