This new in-pool ladder has the same rugged construction as our Neptune entry system. This ladder is super strong and is made of maintenance-free resin.
Adjustable deck flanges allow this premium in-pool ladder to fit almost any deck. Double extended handrails allow even small children to easily exit the pool. Side wings protect kids from becoming entrapped under the ladder, preventing accidental drowning. for this season to allow for easier entry and exit. These side wings are also slotted for better water flow and chemical distribution throughout the pool. The ladder is also easy to assemble with its unique snap-lock construction.

Is sand used to weigh the ladder down? If so, how?

Will this step / ladder work with a soft side or Intex pool?

How is this step weighted down?

The 200400T 36" Dual Handrail Drop in Step/Taupe has a ballast tray designed to hold ballast bags filled with sand. You would need approximately 125 lbs of sand to keep the step in place.

Pros: We love these steps and do not consume lots of space in the pool.
Cons: I cannot complain at all.
We have had this ladder 4 years now,it has not faded in the sun, still very bright white and sturdy.Every ending season we take it out of the pool and slightly tip it so the handles are tilted down and the water drains out and just lay it on the deck for the winter. Just make sure the water is drained. We have close to 13lbs.of sand in it. The steps are large and deep enough for big feet, also not a deep step for climbing in and out of the pool. These steps are great for small children, they cannot go between the steps at all. I have not found no other pool steps with this same features.

Clear instructions,went together quickly. Install was simple. Adding sand for weight was a little time consuming but necessary. A large funnel helps. Appears to be an excellent product.
