I cannot get the top of my haywood filter pump off to change the cartridge c900 It seems to be stripped. My friend release the pressure someway and was able to life it off howis that done

Hello, Once you release the pressure and loosen the lock ring, you should be able to remove the lid. If you are unable to, you can lightly tap on the lid with a rubber mallet.
