The resistance or element is 5500 watts but the nut is 11/2 inches of diameter. I am needing the two elements. Do you have that diameter in yours?

Hi. You can troubleshoot a heating element by check for continuity, and confirming that it's getting the correct voltage using a multimeter.

Pros: works well

Cons: had to make a gasket to prevent leakage

The unit heats well. I did have a problem getting a good seal, but that may be due to the threads.
