The easy way to scoop diatomaceous earth (D.E.) from bag to filter. E-Z SCOOP® is the only D.E. scoop that has been designed to be equal in volume to a one pound coffee can.
E-Z SCOOP® is better to use than coffee cans because they do not have harmful rust particles that can damage filter media, plus they have the added convenience of a handle. The correct measuring instructions are printed on the bottom.
1 Scoops = 1 pound of D.E.
Very confused. At one point elsewhere on website it states 1 lb coffee can deliver ½ lb DE, yet this states the orange DE container is equivalent to a 1 lb coffee can and is equal to 1 lb DE. If filled, is this 1 lb of DE?

Hi, John. They are different size scoops available, this specific scoop is equivalent to 1 lb of DE. If you're using a coffee can or a similar size scoop, that is equivalent to 1/2 lb of DE.

OK, but product description is still confusing, as this states it is the volume of a 1 lb coffee can (which is ½ lb DE), but also states it is the volume which would contain 1 lb DE: The easy way to scoop diatomaceous earth (D.E.) from bag to filter. E-Z SCOOP® is the only D.E. scoop that has been designed to be equal in volume to a one pound coffee can. AND 1 Scoops = 1 pound of D.E.
