Bill, If you have the HR24 filter, you will need the 4640-41C lateral assembly.

Hi, Rick. This Hub and Lateral Assy will not fit the TR60 sand filter. You will need the Hub Assy - 154763 along with 8 of the Lateral - 152290.

How is this assembly removed from the filter tank/

You will need to pull this out from the top of the filter where the multiport valve mounts. You may need to take the laterals off of the main standpipe before removal as well.
