The pump that I have says it is a Speck 91-I... The plastic impeller disintegrated. It looks like it broke off in half and the top part was destroyed... This part looks like what I need. Will this work as a replacement part? If so, How do I remove the other half from the pump? The plastic nut will not loosen up. Help!!!

Part 5140-24A is the impeller for Speck Model E-91. I do not see the plastic nut you refer to in the Speck Model E-91 parts diagram. Generally a pump impeller just screws off counterclockwise from the shaft. See our guide on "How To Replace A Pool Pump Impeller" for a typical example. Try using a strap clamp to remove the remaining half.

Hello Tommy. The Speck Pump model E91-II's Impeller, part 2921623033, is rated for 1 to 1 1/2 HP motors. The Speck Pump Impeller, part 2921623031, is rated for 1/2 to 3/4 HP motors. Please verify the horsepower of your pool pump motor in order to correctly match the impeller to your motor. Impeller, 1 Hp (1.5 HP SPL) Model E91 (2921623033)
