Indoor Draft Hood - 250 Wg (dhi250)
For a Hayward H250FDN in-ground pool heater, inside heater application, negative venting with B type flue pipe through garage roof, is this DHI250 vent hood required or not? Installer says not.
Would there be a problem with installing the vent hood even if installed says it isn't needed? The ignition on the heater is electronic, not milli-volt, if that matters. Installer says it does, I'm not sure how the ignition effects venting??
Can't get a good answer either way. Thanks for any help.

Hi. Phil K. The Indoor Draft Kit - DHI250 is not compatible with the H250FDN unit. You will need p/n UHXNEGVT12501.

Hi I purchased the H250FDN heater and the UHXNEGVT12501. kit.
This is for a in ground , indoor pool.
Do I need the hood ??

Hi, Priscilla. The H250FDN does not require a hood, the Vent Adapter Kit - UHXNEGVT12501 will do.
