do they make a longer threaded shaft to secure the nut. drives me crazy trying to get this together.

Hi, A longer thread shaft is not available to be used with this Knob Assembly (R0357500).

      Thanks for the photos! You have the Jandy CV580 and this would be the proper knob replacement for the filter in your photos.
