I have a eco kleer 26" sand filter I would like to change the laterals. I need to know how to take the current one out, I cant lift the and they seem too tight to screw out. Is there a tool or screw to make this happen?

are these particular laterals lift up of screw off.

Yes, there is a slot this unit would twist and lock into.

Awesome set up with the lock tabs. At first I thought this wasn't going to work due to the drain assembly I installed, but the center lock ring has a nice angle (30 degrees) for the tubes and it all fit perfect.
