How to remove the old Pentair Lateral(s) S8S70 Sta-Rite (24901-0003) in install these new ones?

Hi Buddy, per the manual the laterals are twist-lock. Give them a counterclockwise turn and they should come out. Sometimes sand particles get in there and make them difficult to remove. Give them a gentle wiggle and they should twist and come out.

I had two broken laterals and was able to find the replacement parts. Pleasantly surprised to see that the parts to old filter were available at INYO. Received some directions from on-line support and the repair went very well
