This Thomas, To release the lateral from the Collector Hub you will have to twist and pull the lateral.

Is there a gasket available for the diverter valve, some call it a spider gasket?

Is this for the Sta-Rite Crystal Flo sand filter? If so, if you have a part number off the valve or if you could attach a picture of the valve and filter if you don't know and I can identify it for you and find the correct spider gasket for you.

The T-240BP-1 is obsolete, the replacement filter is the T-240BP-2.
