When installing, do you use any pipe dope or tape around threads to prevent leaks?

Hello Mark - The Triton II lid does not require any pipe dope or teflon tape. The o-ring is enough to seal the lid.

Hello Lenny, The clear lid is no longer available. The manufacturer supply of lids are currently only available in the tan or black color.
