#CX900F THIS IS THE O-RING USED TO SEAL BETWEEN THE FILTER HEAD AND BODY ON THE HAYWARD STAR CLEAR PLUS CARTRIDGE FILTERS. THE O-RING FITS INTO A GROOVE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FILTER HEAD. O-RING DIMENSIONS: OUTSIDE DIAMETER: 10-1/2" INSIDE DIAMETER: 10" THICKNESS: 1/4"
The last time I got the O ring from a pool store it was to thin and not tight enough to seal.
What is the thickness on this O ring? If it does not work will I be able to send it back?

Lou, The o-ring is approx. a 1/4" thick. You can return the o-ring in new unused condition within 30 days.

Pros: correct replacement for Hayward 1200
This item fits and performs as advertised. Lubricate with white lithium grease when you install. Vaseline will work if you have nothing else handy.
