Hi Konrad, The Pressure Relief Valve Ass'y (550-4230) does not come with installation instructions. You can contact Waterway at 805.981.0262 for instructions.

Adjustable Wrench, Large size KNIPEX Pliers Wrench XL with mouth of 3 to 5 inches to grab..

1. Follow the standard instructions for removing the upper lid of the cartridge
filter.
2. Use the wrench to loosen the wide nut inside holding the valve assembly to the
lid.
Need a wide mouth wrench.
3. Remove the old valve assembly
4. Install the new valve assembly = make sure the O rings are properly seated on each
side of the top hole when screwing the valve assembly tight. The O rings are
provided when you buy the assembly kit.
5. Tighten the wide nut once again using the wide mouth adjustable pliers.
6. Re-install the lid using the proper process for clamping the upper-lid and O Ring
on to the base unit.
