421707 31 is the part number on the return header, ids the selected part the same as above for a Pentair minimax nt. the return header has a length of about 14" is this the same as the item I have selected ? Rod

Rod, This is the Return Header for the Penair Minimax NT Heater, however not 100% sure since the p/n you've provided does not cross reference to this part. The only way to be sure is to call Pentair Pool Products at 1.800.831.7133 and find out from them if this is the correct replacement part.

can this part be replaced with out having to pull the whole heat exchanger out
and does it come with the gaskets ?

Hi Bill, You would have to remove the complete heat exchanger in order to replace the Return Header. The Tube Gasket is not included it is sold separately.
